Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all lesson bookings made through the Sulitko platform. By completing a booking you agree to the terms below. All payments are processed via Stripe; refunds are returned to the original payment method unless otherwise specified.

2. Student-Initiated Cancellations

More than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson:

  • You may cancel the lesson from your Student Dashboard.
  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Alternatively, you may choose to receive a lesson credit for use on a future booking.

Within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson:

  • Cancellations are generally not eligible for a refund.
  • A lesson credit may be offered at Sulitko's sole discretion in exceptional circumstances (e.g., verified medical emergency with documentation).
  • To request a discretionary credit, contact [email protected] within 48 hours of the lesson.

3. Teacher-Initiated Cancellations or No-Shows

  • If a Teacher cancels a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund automatically.
  • If a Teacher fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice, the lesson is classified as a Teacher no-show.
  • No-shows are eligible for a full refund. Please report them within 24 hours via [email protected] or through the in-app support feature.
  • Repeated no-shows by a Teacher will result in account review and possible suspension.

4. Technical Failures

If a lesson cannot proceed due to a technical failure on Sulitko's infrastructure (e.g., our video platform is down), you will receive a full refund or a lesson credit — your choice. Technical issues on the Student's or Teacher's own device or internet connection are not covered under this provision.

If you experience a technical issue during a lesson, please report it to [email protected] within 24 hours with a brief description. We will investigate and respond within 2 business days.

5. Lesson Packages

Lesson packages (pre-paid bundles of multiple lessons) are subject to the following:

  • Unused lessons in a package may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if requested within 30 days of purchase.
  • Partially used packages are refunded for the unused portion only.
  • Packages are non-transferable between Teachers or Students.
  • To request a package refund, contact [email protected] with your order details.

6. Lesson Credits

Lesson credits issued by Sulitko (e.g., as a goodwill gesture or following a Teacher no-show) are:

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Applicable to any booking on the Platform.
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable to cash.
  • Applied automatically at checkout when your account holds a credit balance.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Via Dashboard: For eligible cancellations (24+ hours notice), cancel directly from your Student Dashboard — the refund is processed automatically.
  2. Via Email: For all other refund requests, email [email protected] with your booking reference, the date of the lesson, and a brief explanation.
  3. Response time: We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
  4. Processing time: Approved refunds are typically returned to your payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will govern that transaction.
